To grow big muscles.....???

I am just wondering how many here are from the school of thought that the best way to build muscle on gear is to eat dirty and eat dirty a lot?? A lot of the pros live and die by this method, Priest, Coleman, etc.

I mean, I wouldn't want to look like a fatass, but do some of you manage a dirty diet and still keep the fat off when on cycle?? Or do you just say fuck it, mass up and then cut the fat later???

I always eat clean as well.... It's better for your body (obviously) even if it does require more food to get the amount of carbs,protein,fat and cals that you seek.

I stay clean, but when december rolls around i pig out for about a month.......too many holidays.
 
i eat fairly clean, but at no means all perfect, last night i had a slice of peach pie with vanilla ice cream, had a craving for it all day at work like a bitch... but i usually follow the basic guidlines of a diet high protein, low carbs, moderate calories, i don't put on any fat during cycle or even off, but this is what works for me, now McD's 3 times a day, that would be a no no

I agree, I think everyone should have some cheating, or else you might seem like a robot.

I wish I could eat like Lee Priest does in the offseason. :p

I eat everthing in sight when I'm bulking no matter how dirty it is.
You can trim up later.
 
The more muscle you have on your body the higher your metabolic rate, more calories are needed to maintain size, this is the main reason pro's eat dirty. They would have to eat 20lbs of "clean" food a day to get the calories needed.
 
Lee Priests looks like he is 80 years old trapped in a 30 year olds body. What a freak...........
 
In the past I've eaten dirty and made good gains, but gotten pretty chunky as well. Now that I've dieted off 32 pounds, I'm trying to get into the habit of eating clean most of the time. I'm sick of looking like a stay-puff man for most of the year.
 
You guys have also gotta realize, the top pros put more gear & other chemicals in their body in one month than you probably will in your lifetime. So, most of you can in no way even begin to campare yourself,training, eating or lifestyle with theirs. They are a totally different being. I like to eat clean all day long while at work so that if I decide I want a cheat food later that night or over the weekend I can do so without putting on too much fat. I am naturally lean & like to stay that way. I've seen peopel do the fast food/eat all the garbage you want & they ended up big but, looking like the sta-puff marshmello man. It's not good on your body & it causes a lot of uneccessary work when the time comes that you want to shed it back off. You saw Priest off gear & fat right, he looked like shit, he looked like your average sittin on the front porch of my mobile home slob.

I eat clean most the time but just watch my waist. If it goes over 33.5 I diet until it hits 33 again. Simple.

Imake my best gains in LBM eating like a pig but keeping at least half the day clean.
 
I'm a fat ass, but it's not my fault- bad genetics! Started eating clean last year, dropped 14lbs, and can't stop now. This might sound silly, but proper diet (low sat fat, high pro, and high fiber) makes me shit regular. I get the "runs" if i even think about Taco Bell, McDonnell's, or Burger King. Don't get me wrong, i make the effort to eat like a pig at least once a week, but now that i got my intestines regular, i love it- no more 30 min craps!

if i eat anything i always get the pot belly,this time around Ive started to eat clean and get my belly under control.I want to try and keep the abs in my next mass cycle.Ive been clean now sense Nov and I'm just about ready to start a cutting cycle.I'm 38 and i don't shed the fat like i use to,so the diet for me is very important.
