to Bulk or to Cut..

So I have been naturally "bulking" for the past year.


In that time my bf% has sky rocketed. I have outgrown some pants and the ones I have left are getting VERY tight.

I have put on a lot of muscle, but at the same time I now have an ugly spare tire of fat around me waist.

I had planned on bulking until January, but now feel that it is time to trim some of this fat off.

I have been under the impression that you are either 1) putting on size and muscle or 2) cutting body fat... but that it is near impossible to do both at the same time.

My question I guess is what would you do in this situation? And also would just cleaning up my diet, cutting sugars and fats out, would that help lean up my love handles.. or do I need to go all out.. cut calories, do some running, bust out ECA/NYC.. etc.?

i say keep bulking till you can't stand to look at yourself in the mirror any longer, then do a crazy cutting cycle!!!

i say cut off all of that extra muscle you have put on and hope the love handles stay. all the extra weight from the added muscle just ends up making it harder to walk up stairs and stuff. not worth the effort in my opinion. fat is totally underrated...i mean it's so light you could practically fill up hot air balloons with it except they'd be called fat balloons. why weigh yourself down? you see how unhappy astronauts are when they came back from the moon and had to readjust to earth's gravity? why would you want to do that to yourself?
 
I am always bulking I just cycle my cardio activity. Remember that every time you cut you are putting off your muscle growth. You could probably benefit from eating 7 CLEAN meals a day, every single day, for about 6 months though. LOTS of super clean foods...7x per day.
