To bake or not to bake?

Who has used fina without baking? Did anyone get an infection this way? Is baking really needed, someone said it turns it brown, that can't be good.

I didn't bake mine, and never got an infection or anything bad from it... but that's just me.

I didn't bake mine. I'm on my second batch right now and so far so good! Doesn't even hurt (ok 1cc in my delt hurts a little right now, but it's a good pain!)
