...since laundry usually isn't on the to-do list:

In case of emergency where "good" ie - not stinky, clothes are needed and all you have is what is left on the floor, do this:

Scoop them up toss them in the dryer with the paper-pull outs of cologne that all mens magazines carry. Set dryer on touch-up.

Voila!!

stinky cologne cloths...

NOpe. Stinky goes away. Unless you use Old Spice or some shit in which case the BO would have been better.

if i've got a pair of jeans that reek of smoke from the night before and i need to wear em, i throw them in the dryer with a sheet of fabric softener and that gets rid of the smell. if that doesn't work then i usually take the jeans and put them in my cat's covered litter box and shake it up really hard and then take em out and pee all over them.

Dude I was with you up to the point of the fabric softener.

LOL

Uh I've do the first part with the fabric softner. Haven't tried the second option. Guess I need to buy a cat first. I'm off to the pound!!!

WAIT A MINUTE!! I have an idea. Here's what you do to remove those real stubborn smells from your clothes (courtesy of ssme):

Put artilces of clothing in the dryer

put kitty litter in the dryer too (cat optional)

start dryer

While dryer is running, slighty open the door to the dryer, on some models the dryer will continue to spin,

carefully urinate through opening, making sure to cover garments evenly. this may takes some practice

repeat as necessary.

Yeah, that does work pretty well... but takes a little too much effort. Much easier to just take a nice healthy shit, throw it in there with your clothes... turn to high heat... spin for 15 minutes and voila!

I never did it, or had it done to my clothes, but in college, the laundry rooms of one dorm were along a main hallway, and as students living there, particularly hockey guys for some reason, got drunk and roamed the halls from suite to suite, if they saw a dryer going with laundry, they'd open it up - pee, and then close it and start it up again.

I'm sure it is funny if you are drunk, but it is so entirely not cool when you are the sober one with the laundry.

I'm moving into an apartment with a cat, so I'll have to try out SSME's trick.
