well i had too much shit runnin at once and it got slow so i was like fuck it and hit the power button, turned it on, safe mode pops up, so try the options, none wotrk, shut it down again same shit bro, then try again...same shit again bro, so then i call the gateway i asked to bring it in, brought it in and they did something not sure what they did but the dude did say i have alot of movies from kazaa that usually contain virsus and other donwloaded stuff from kazaa so be careful



in the end i got my lap top (see i am learnin bro lap not lab)

and all my flies are still here

Just open up a dos prompt and type in

dir /O:N /B /S *.mp3 >> listofmusic.txt

your music files should be listed in listofmusic.txt

(be sure to run this from the root folder of the drive that stores your music)

yep,

then type in

then hit enter

it will run for a while scanning your hard drive.

when it's over, open up listofmusic.txt the normal way...by clicking on the file in the c:\ directory. Your music names should be there.
