Dude- here is a pic of one like the stang I had... two differences-

1) My car was white...
2) I am sure mine was faster...

RIP old car....

I will drive you someday again...

ouch,,.....why was it again killed? why? it is a classic work of art

did u have a 4 speed ?

no, I sold it bro... last time I saw it, it was on a flat bed heading across the country... :(

yep, it was a four speed... I loved the way it used to snap your head back when you changed gears hauling a$$...

one rep- 69s and 70s are sweet too... I like the 69 a lot also, but they are heavier... The inside of mine was mostly stripped out to make it lighter... no heat, no a/c, no radio... just strap yourself to the engine and blast off!

mustangs have the greatest exhaust sounds ever...the way the pistons fire and the set up with the exhaust is the best fromt he old ones to the new stangs

i love the old stangs as well as the new ones....expcet the shit box stangs from about mid 70s to 85

i guess they sucks and were weak since of gas shortage

onerep- that is a 68- the 67s have "gills" on the scoop by the rear wheel... also the 68 has rearview mirror attached to the winshield (67 was attached to roof) and 68 had shoulder belts- though primitive, 67 just had lap belts... those last two changes were safety things legislated in 68....

tiger88-they make body kits for the conversion of a mustang to that exact style- it still costs like 2-3k just for the fiberglass... there are also suspension mods and a variety of oter stuff thrown in, but you could build one for way less than that....

t88-I agree on the weak middle line up for the stangs... I like 71-73 style in a fastback only- depending on the paint scheme, though they were slow and heavy... after that they sucked for a while though....

i was thinking that

there are a ton of after market mustang parts and magazines to get parts and body kits....

if you can't do it yourself, it would cost at least 2x as much though.... but yeah, there are lots of cool parts and mods available out there....

the car is the worst part of the pic

i would lay some wood on tat chic in the backround i could use a german shepard dog....those things are awsome

that car is the worst part of that pic!

bottom line, I want my car to start every time i turn the key, in addition to being fast. that said... i'll stick w/ foreign

never had a problem with mine... actually, it was pretty light inthe maintenence area... of course it helps to know a little bit about fixing things...

LOL at the tight ass looking 60's Woman with the German Shepherd....

Looks like she's off to work at the Birmingham police dept...

I have 2 nice cars.. but i'm taking the 5th b/c they are american. My chick's recent purchase of a 2004 bmw (hooked up) has swayed my decision.. i fully believe they are worth the $$
