Hey all.
A few years back I got thyroid cancer and had my thyroid completely removed. I am now on Synthroid, and have gained fat over the years; I am assuming that Synthroid is not the best thyroid replacement.
I would like to take Cytomel, and this is where my question comes in: would it be all right to take cytomel with my synthroid, or as a replacement for my Synthroid even though I have epilepsy? Also, if it is okay to take, what would be a good starting dose, considering the epilepsy issue?
Thank you very much.
