Thoughts on Test and Dieting

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone is getting ready for the Christmas holiday.

I have a question. I have read many different things regarding this so here goes. Of course, you give me a good answer and I give Karma.

I am looking to diet quite hard beginning January 1st. I am going to try and drop alot of fat while putting on some lean mass.
My question is, would it be wise to go with my Test E and Deca stack while dieting? I am concerned that the Test and even the Deca will help to put on more fat and actually increase my body weight.

I am in a bind, part of me wants to go with this stack and diet hard while another part of me thinks I should do this naturally.

Any advice?
 
Personally, I say take the gear. Aside from some water retention that may blur your results initially, it is ultimately your diet/cardio that determines whether or not you will store fat, not the gear. However, one might say that your cycle results will be comprimised by eating reduced amounts of calories(mainly from a strength/size standpoint). But at the same time, the gear will prevent you from losing some of the muscle you already have while dieting. Do this cycle you have planned and as part of your pct do some clenbuterol-this way as you lose the water weight from going off the test, you'll gain even more definition from clens fat burning properties while benefiting from it's pct's anti catabolic properties as well. I dunno-I could go on about this forever but there are just too many variables without knowing more stats about you. I hope this helps.
 
Jsut to reiterate, yoru choice of gear has NOTHING to do w/ fat gain. Some compounds are used as cutters b/c they caue minimal water retention. Also, many say tren is good at helping to burn fat, but it really comes down to your diet/cardio.
 
What do you think your bf% is right now? If its low enough just start your diet when you start your cycle. Eating a lot of the right foods is ok. You will still lose fat if you eat right, but your going to retain some water weight from both compounds. You can always take armidex for that though. And at the end of the cycle maybe throw in some winny, or throw in clen with pct to really shed the fat.
 
As I've said many times, I'm Endo/Mesomorphic..... I've found that when I try to gain muscle AND lose fat at the same time, the results aren't as good if you did one or the other.... So, when I do a bulking cycle (Like the Test/Deca cycle you described), I try to keep fat gain to a minimum.... I can do this by increasing my Protein and Fat intake, but still keep Carbs low..... This results in a nice quality gain of muscle, and minimal fat gain.... I do AM cardio to burn some extra fat, and use a nice Aromatase Inhibitor like Arimidex, to keep bloat to a minimum.... This results in a signifigant increase in Mass, while keeping BF% as low as possible.....

My point here is to not think youre on a "Gain muscle/Lose Fat" cycle/diet.... Concentrate on gaining the Muslce, but try to keep fat gain to a minimum through Macronutrient profile.... Keep the calories high, but just eat the right type of calories.... When the cycle is over, get on some Clen, drop the calories a lil bit, and hit the cardio..... Try it that way, you will be more satisfied with the results...... The Gain muscle/Lose Fat cycle, you might gain about 6lbs of LBM that you'll keep.... However if you do the bulking, then diet down, you will be able to gain a few more lbs of LBM in the end..... This is just my experience, and I've been doing it for a while now..... Good luck no matter how you decide to do it....

I guess I should have put some stats up. Thanks to everyone that has posted something, really helps.

Stats:
Weight: 255 pounds
Height: 5:10
Bodyfat: I would estimate around 20 percent.
I have been training off and on for 6 years now. After the birth of my son, I have let myself go a bit and am now going to train like crazy to get back to previous form.

Based on my higher fat percentage, would anyone change their opinions on doing the test and deca while dieting>?

No, even your extra fat requires muscle to support it. You wanna hold on to as much muscle as possible. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be. Just concentrate on feeding your muscle, not your fat. And try not to take in any more carbs than you need to get you through your workouts/daily activities. A gallon of water a day won't hurt your cause either. After a couple months you could get some Win V or ?? and start depleting carbs a few days at a time to really dial it in for summer.

alot of solid advice right here bro....i would say to diet just a little bit to get that body fat at least in the high mid teens say 16 before ya hit the gear, if dieting is what you really want to do that is...alot of people say they want to diet (bigger people) and when they start and actually see a loss of some size in the mirror they get scared and abandon it before it really gets good....i have been dieting pretty hard as of late (clean) and while i have lost size and some strength (down from 220 to 208ish) mirror wise im looking as good as i ever have....so follow whats been said and dont give up if you lose some.....when you do decide to hit a cycle include more androgens as they are needed more when dieting something like test/tren or just test its as easy as that bro...goodluck
