Do you know the history of this conflict?

If you did then you know that no matter which side stops, the other will stay aggressive.

Even if the walking bombs stopped, the Israeli army would still do what it does best.

I know the entire history of this conflict, and have spoken personally with both Israeli soldiers and a few palestinian citizens.

I agree with you to a certain extent but come on, even you have to admit that in the past 3-5 years Israel has only REACTED as opposed to acted against the palestinians.

maybe because it's gone on for so long. kind of like catholics and protisants (sp?). It's just hard to forget everything that's happened for 50 years and act like nothing has happened. There are those on both sides who do not wish to see peace. And they are usually louder and more forceful than those who DO want peace.

That is false. Besides the settlements being illegally built even during times of relative peace, the harsh measures used by soldiers (for whatever reason) is what lead to the drastic suicide bombings in the first place.

I am not a fan of either side, but trying to place the Israelis above the Palestinians is purely moronic.

If you were in a constant state of war where the enemy could be either a 13 year old girl or a 21 year old man you would be a little edgy too. In my opinion this is not harsh, but necessary.

I do have to admit though that my opinion might be biased because I know a good amount of people in the Israeli army and consider them friends, so therefore my opinions may be null and void.

over 40,000 americans die in car accidents a year. So according to your logic if suicide bombers/terrorists killed just under 40,000 americans in america each year, you wouldnt have a problem with it and would intrigued by all the publicity it gets, becaue as you said "Actually more americans die in car crashes each year than by suicide bombings which is an interesting figure."
