I found a great recipie where I add uncooked oats, protein, water or non-fat milk and other sweetening ingredients like nutrisweet and stuff like that in a blender and make a shake. It's really easy, and works great in the morning because it doesn't take any time at all.
My question is, is there a nutritional different between cooked, and uncooked oats? Also, is there a nutritional difference between the instant packets of oatmeal and slow cook oats? I'm not talking about the strawberries and cream and all those flavored instant ones, just the regular flavor. Thanks. Iron
