First item is a guy flaming Garrison Keillor for being anti-Catholic. The letter would fit in pretty well here in Chat... but it's Garrison's response to it I want you to see.

C.F., yours is just about the best angry letter I've received in more than thirty years of doing the show, and I admire it. It maintains a high level of rage and contempt throughout, you've got some of your facts straight -- and it's very well written.

But you don't know how to stop once you get started. Anger can do this to a person. You get in and you forget where the brakes are.

Read the whole thing. It's a thoughtful way to start a new year.

I listen to prairie home every week, I think the show has great music and touches some funny points. I'm a republican but have no problems with Garrrison, I take him lightly just as his response should be.Thanks for the post.

Its interesting coming from a guy who does stuff like he does. Very hard to piss off a Minnesotan. They dont' get real excited about much of anything, although they are very supportive of any thing you want to do.
