With BC/BS insurance it was $3 per 12.5mg or $45 for 15.

it was 47 bucks for 30 generic standard release 10's...... my insurance doesnt cover ambien

ummmm, I'm not going to give any advice on narcotics specifically but here's what I know about generics in general:
1) mostly good, are required to be within 91% of the name brand potency
2) are bought in huge bulk by the manufacturer by the lowest bidder at that time. This means that the dyes/fillers can vary from month to month etc, and your body can react differently to these dyes etc.
3) I avoid generics that are measured in micrograms all together. Thyroid meds are a perfect example. Stuff that has to be measured in mic's just isnt worth messing around with.
