Fina + B6 good? Think again...

I've read on the net that B6 is a 5ar inhibitor.

Can someone verify this.

Can you imagine the poor fuckers such as myself who are on Fina who are taking 600mg B6 ED to inhibit progesteron sides, only to accelerate their hairloss!

Report on B6, Zinc znd Alzeic Acid.

If this is true then we need a serious rethink about dealing with progesterone sides on Fina.

inhibiting 5ar would help to prevent hair loss, not accelerate it.

test + 5ar -> DHT -> chromedome

Not in the case of Fina.

Fina uses the 5ar enzyme to reduce to DHN, which has very low activity in the scalp. Block the enzyme and it doesn't get reduced and makes hairloss worse.

So again, I am referring to Fina and/or Deca users who take B6 to reduce progestin sides and how it affects them.

my bad.

i know about the deca->5ar->dhn conversion and it being hairsafe, didnt make the connection to fina being a nandrolone derivative.

I've stopped my B6 today, I thought the culprit was the Test as I have lost hair a little before on it but not this much. It may still be but I'll know in a week.

I'm losing about 20 hairs a day but I love the Fina, If that means I have to do a Tren cycle without Test and B6 then so be it. The stuff kicks ass lol ;)

Hmmm, i'll up it, I want to know more

I'm afraid so it appears some forms of b6 agonize others antagonize! Sorry I couldn't pull up a full article for ya. Heres the abstract, enjoy!

Androgen hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases under the influence of pyridoxine derivatives.

Kniewald Z, Zechner V, Kniewald J.

Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

The metabolism of testosterone in the rat ventral prostate, anterior pituitary, basal hypothalamus and amygdala was studied in vitro under the influence of vitamin B6 compounds. The influence of these compounds on the activity of 5 alpha-reductase (5 alpha-R), 3 alpha- and 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3 alpha-HSD, 17 beta-HSD) was determined for all the examined tissues. Pyridoxine hydrochloride significantly increased the activity of 5 alpha-R, 3 alpha- and 17 beta-HSD, but pyridoxal hydrochloride had an inhibitory influence on 5 alpha-R and showed no effect on 3 alpha-HSD activity at the prostate level. Male rat anterior pituitary, basal hypothalamus or amygdala incubated with pyridoxal phosphate and pyridoxal hydrochloride showed modified enzymatic activities. Pyridoxal hydrochloride showed an inhibitory effect on 5 alpha-R in the rat pituitary and basal hypothalamus as well as in the rat prostate.

Acetate, 75mg ED. I'm only doing a short 3 weeker to see how I get on with it, running test enan in the background at 250mg EW although prior to starting the Tren I was on 500mg E5D for a couple of weeks.

I was happy to keep on with 500mg Test but when I noticed the hairloss around about the time I started the Tren. I thought I would knock it down to a maintenance dose because this Tren is the blood of christ seriously!

As long as I can control the hairloss I will be able to run it for a full cycle in the late spring.
