This is the legislation being proposed for putting prohormones on Schedule III. My personal opinion, the legislation is a grandstanding piece of crap proposed by Mssrs. Sweeney and Osborne (himself a former NCAA football coach) intended to capitalize on the FUD surrounding these substances.
The only good thing is that the bill is currently in no fewer than three House committees for debate before anything even sees the light of day. With luck, it will die there. The most telling part of the legislation is the monies being appropriated for "youth education" programs about steroids ($42.5 million for FY2003-2005).
