Classy Skank
A few weeks ago the Stae of Ohio sent my hubby a letter. This letter was in regards to prooving he had car insurance. He had to send in a copy of his insurance card. It stated he had 30 days to comply or his drivers lic. would be pulled. No biggie , he sent in the proper info.
I get a letter in the mail yesterday from the Ohio Bureau Of Motor Vehicles. It states:
Dear*****
The Ohio Bureau of Morot Vehicles has recieved documentaion showing your complicance with Ohio's Financial Responsibilty Law regarding the above- referenced Ohio license plate number. The information you provided is satisfactory and is on compliance with Ohio Law.
I wish to thank you for responding to our request for this information. We APOLOGIZE for any concern this request caused you. Our request for information is intended to help identify Ohio vehicle owners who may not be operating a motor vehicles without proper liability coverage, thereby, reducing your risk of being involved in an accident with an uninsured motorist.
Sincerely-
Frank Caltrider
WTF? Why did'nt I get a letter asking for my proof of insurance? Does the state actually think that this will help? What if my hubby decides to NOT pay his next insurance bill?
Hubby asked a guy at work, which he knows has NO insurance if he got such a letter. Guess what? NO HE DID NOT GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL.
I can see where my tax dollar's go....
