1. MUSIC-before my stereo was removed from my truck without my permission, that was my altar. everywhere I went, I had something spinning in the cd player. music keeps me insane, or sane that is. music complements my moods, no matter the genre.
2. Personal transportation-I cannot fathom how hard it would be without a vehicle living here in southern California, you NEED a vehicle to get anything done. if I have the craving to get a carne asada burrito late at night(I don't anymore), I can just go to my truck and I will be on my merry way. you can't do stupid shit like that if you don't have your own personal vehicle.
3. Personal computer-although I use it mainly for internet access and for messing around, I don't use it for its full potential, databasing, managing my finances, etc. without it though, I would be lost since I also use it to communicate with my friends using instant messagers, and to post useless threads like this one on boards like Elite.
4. Cellular phone-I don't use this particular item freely like it is more important than the task at hand like other people do, but I do use it to communicate with my friends and it is a whole lot cheaper than using your home phone sometimes. if I need to find out how much I have in the bank, or if someone wants to cruise out, I don't need to stop by a pay phone or wait till I get home to call them, I use this.
5. Moutain dew-morning, day, nite. this is my coffee. I don't need to stop by at starbucks to get my "fix", although they do have good tasting blends(mmm, christmas blend). this is very convenient for me to use to wake my ass up when I first show up to work, or to quench my thirst. I can drink this warm, not lukewarm, but warmer than luke, but I prefer it chilled, no ice please.
6. Hi fidelity components-luckily I have stero components at home, and there are stereos blaring at work, otherwise, the ride to and fro would be agonizingly painful for me. quality components are essential for listening to such excellent music.
7. Sunglasses-it is necessary to have at least one pair of these in san diego, if it ain't sunny, it will be bright on a cloudy day.
what can't you live without?
