THG and improved reflexes and vision?

Read this post from another board I visit and tell me what you think. I haven't heard of "other steroids" that can improve vision and reflexes. Clue me in if I'm wrong. Thanks.

"Scottie and all others:

Alright I've slept on this long enough. I'm tired of people making the argument "Steroids don't make you a great hitter." I've heard this line on numerous Sport shows and most recently by Harrold Renolds of ESPN(whom I actually have a lot of respect for.)

This is a completely ignorant statement and I don't blame people for their ignorancy on this subject because the biochemical sides of steroids gets pretty in depth at times. For those of you that don't know there are many different forms of steroids, not just the stereotypical anabolic ones that are associated with increased strength and muscle mass. There are steroids that improve both your vision and reflexes. Since most of the people that make this argument know nothing about the types of steroids BALCO was supplying their athletes with they automatically assume they're the stereotypical give you strength/mass/and acne steroids. THG(tetrahydragestrinone), which is the steroid under the radar right now that was being supplied to many of USA's top athletes today(including Bonds), is a steroid blend consisting of a formula that produces insane results in 3 main areas: Eye sight, Reflexes, and Strength.

Now, I do agree that steroids alone will not make the average Joe some Hall of Fame home run hitter. However, THG. given to any pro athlete who already obviously had major talent to begin with, turns them into literally a machine.

I've done plenty of research on THG. and it's attributes, so I know them well. THG is brand new though, to get it on the "black market" you'd have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars because the particular steroid(THG) is so advanced in technology. The downside to this particular roid being brand new is, BALCO themselves aren't really aware of the long term side effects, all they know is a lot of today's top athlete's want it, and are willing to pay top dollar for it because of the types of results it produces, not only in the gym."

this is complete bullshit... too many reasons to list...

but here is a few- 1) there are few if any studies on THG... find some on the net that are even semi reliable as this guy claims 2) THG is just a modified molecule (I believe similar to trenbalone).. there is nothing magical about it- the modification is only to avoid detection, nothing more... 3) if it could cause vision or reflexes, so would other steriods- they don't- this is not how they work and for the most part, they wouldn't even have any effect on neural systems which are what is responsible for those traits; maybe he should take some biology and biochem classes if he thinks they will... 4)"a lot of today's top athlete's want it, and are willing to pay top dollar for it because of the types of results it produces, not only in the gym." - actually they don't because it can be detected now- which was its only advantage over better know compounds before...

I bet this guy is a scammer who will have some for sale soon... (whether it be under the same handle or not)

tell them they should stick to playing with the old stick and balls and leave this stuff to people with half a brain...

I don't know about steroids improving vision, that sounds a bit far-fetched to me. However, we do know that most if not all steroids exhibit some sort of positive effect on your cns, which means better reflexes, etc.

So I think some of what he says is correct, however this ability wouldn't be limited to thg. Hell, they've even caught some chess players taking gear because it improves focus and response time (they started testing because they want chess to be an olympic event...which is another topic in and of itself).

Gear makes you a better person. The problem is that mainstream america wants you to be happy as a soft, mushy fatass with your big mac and fries.

What should be happening is trying to develop drugs safer and more effective than the gear we have now instead of trying to make sure Barry Bonds is clean. It's akin to trying to find out if there are gays in the military...hello, they've been there for years. Same with gear and professional sports.

Hell, dbol has been around for 50 freakin' years, and it's still one of the top steroids. That's pretty sad, imo. Maybe thg is a quantum leap in gear, who knows?
