Theory on recent busts/heat...just a thought.

Anyone think it's possible all the recent heat/busts may be in preperation for the legalization of maybe a certain steroid or related compound???Is it at all possible they may reschedule steroids or make maybe one derivative somewhat available legally (say test at sane dosages)? Let's remember the same thing happened just before they introduced Xyrem (Prescription GHB). There were CRAZY busts for GHB and related compounds, of course this didnt lead to availability and actually made it harder to get. Anyway, I have a close comrad in the Life extension/HIV community whose says the heat on government and state agencies to make available anabolics (most of which are overseas preperations) is much more intense than most would think. Also, serious consideration is being taken to how the "drug war" is being handled. With all the recent media attention to steroids, government and state agencies/authorities are basically being "slapped in the face." Several networks have run steroid stories/reports in recent months/years more than before they became illegal in the early 90's. This exemplifies an increase in use and a total flop regarding the scheduling and evilization of anabolics. Many of these stories reported on foreign sources and availability of products, not only are steroids being reported on, but methods to which everyday grandma's and grandpa's are being sent illegal medication from overseas. I strongly believe that in the not so distant future a major change will take place regarding prescription drugs, several illegal drugs (weed)and anabolics. I have been following the evolution of steroids and their "demise" for a VERY long time and believe a change is very possible. Drug companies stand to make BILLIONS and they very much, VERY MUCH, know this. Most of my info is of course opinion/hearsay and i hae not ery much eidence to back this up, however, if you read into it (Time.com etc..search key words) you will see the growing concerns and sense of failure regarding this nations drug policies. I DID NOT intend to get hopes up or blabber bullshit...I just see an interesting pattern developing (and has been) for many years...My goal here is to get opinions and info if you hae some to share...I'll be the first one to run naked across the Golden Gate Bridge if absolutely nothing changes say within the next year or two.

Anything is possible although it would take time. Having AAS as regular Rx drugs would be nice. Intense (even moreso than now) lobbying would have to take place and the restrictions in place keeping MD's from Rx'ing would have to be lifted.

There is a bill going throught the house to make prohormones illigal... more so we have a republican senate, house, and white house which tend to look upon drug use welllll kinda not in a happy happy kinda way.

9/1/01 ashcroft said his #1 mission was the war on drugs, we all know what happened soon after......

The only reason why there are not more busts and more feds up our asses is cause of the war on terror....

My 2 mls

Its a little more complicated than that. This assumption that Ashcroft is the Devil himself is actually a result of very little insight into our political system as a whole.

The alternative legislation (Gore and friends) would have wreaked havoc not only on our foreign policy and arrangements therein ensconced, but also would have ultimately led to the collapse of capitalism as a whole (this is still entirely possible), and it is capitolism that preserves your and my abilities to sit right here at a computer and speak freely.

Don't make the mistake of believing the media about your right to privacy being impinged upon by the new legislation affording avenues for eavesdropping on would-be terrorists. The fact is those who believe that have not read the legislation. I have read it, believe me. And while I certainly cannot condone the suspension of certain rights in the name of security, I cannot find the so called breach of privacy that is so vehemently touted by left wing ignoramuses who have very little knowledge of how their rights are defended, all the while complaining to those who are doing the defending.

After all, it wasn't Ashcroft who marched into a private dwelling in Florida and removed a legally harbored child AT GUNPOINT.

That was your democratic leader, folks.

Talk about a breach of privacy.

Learn your history before you go criticizing a principle you know nothing, and I mean NOTHING, about.

yeah

but history also states that no known government has ever been on the side of the "common man".

And further more all this "homeland security" shit is bullshit.

They dont need anymore laws. Its been proven they had all the information about 9/11 months ahead of time, they just were being bullheaded about it.

Why fool the public into believing we need more liegislation to protect us when they didnt use the tools and information they had before to protect us. Its all bullshit. Republican or democrat they are all out for the power and to stick the common man. Thats the nature of government my friend.

As for the "war on drugs". I think we all can agree its total bullshit and yes ashcroft is like vlad the impaler. The man RAIDED a hospice in california(where the PEOPLE VOTED fo MEDICINAL MARIJUANA) and laid terminally ill patients on the ground for using.

The bottom line is only a fool believes we need the "war on drugs" or any more fucking legislation to "protect us". Hell with the NSA alone the government can collect any information it wants against suspected criminals(just like the police give CI's a break and do many things "above the law" to get convictions.)

You cannot convince me we need anymore laws now than 2 years ago. Just share the dam information instead of hogging it to try to get a promotion or some shit.

Dont look for gear to be legal anytime soon. It makes to much sense and the government cares to much about our health. LOL

It sounds crazy. A grown fucking man cannot take steroids because the government says so. A grown person cannot decide for themselves what they can injest which is proven not to effect others. Its bullshit. When did I vote for this legislation?

It's actyually the opposite. there is NO pressure on the govt to legalize steroids but there is tremendoyus pressure right now to make punishments for it harder and to crack down. the pressure is from the olympics and sports organization and that pressure is to crack down on roids and syupplements. and they will succed due to the save the children mentality. believe me roids will be 10xxx harder to get in 10 years. no one is fighting for legalization

:D I'm trying to drudge up a mental image of Ashcroft with a MP5 and a kevlar helmet, kicking a walker away from some old lady, pushing her to the floor, and keeping her face down with his boot.

LOL

naw, he was outside getting his "sound bite" ready. LOL

Had the balls to say something like the states dont respect the fed law and it doesnt matte if the people or state legalize something because to the feds its still illegal.

As far as legalization of weed, its not gonna happen. By far the vast majority of illegal drug use is weed, abotu 20 million smokers, all other drugs combined are used by a few hundred thousand people. Theres entire industries built around the "drug war" employing alot of people and generating alot of revenue. If marijuana were legalized there would be no more "drug problem" and thousands of people would be out of jobs over night.

Doesn't make any sense at all. For many reasons, steroids will remain illegal. Damn they're even discussing about making pro-hormones illegal. Here you have some reasons:

- Steroids are not that popular like weed. Few people have tested a dbol compared to those who have smoked a joint.

- There's a bad reputation stuck on AAS. many myths and few facts: "you may grow a 6th finger", "no libido anymore", "say goodbye to your hair"...... Ignorance is what keep people skeptic.

- Many amateur athletes are afraid to see all their competitors juiced up and stronger than ever. In fact, steroids are seen as a way to cheat. But almost everyone at a competitive level is already cheating so what's new ?

- The pharma industry isn't as strong as the tobacco ind. Cigarettes are known to be worse and be one of the major cause of death in North America. damn even non-smokers can die. But the lobby power behind this industry is strong.

- The fear of the unknown: back in the 60's, 70's and early 80's, few were juicing. In fact, those in the game weren't taking insane dosage and were well aware athletes. Now you see kids (and I ain't joking) of 15 yr old sticking needles in their quads right before a Junior level hockey game. I guess the medical community is afraid to see walking freaks and an increase in health problems.

- Also probably the same reason why many countries won't legalize weed and roids: they're afraid of this being a precedent and be asked later on to legalize something else (coke, opiates).

BUT on the other hand, in many countries they're already legalized and nothing of that happened. For example in Venezuela Test enanth., Deca-durabolin, anadrol, Laurabolin, Polysteron and others are OTC. In Canada insulin, B-12, tylenol with codeine and syringes are OTC too. Too good to be true...
