except there are large factions of the islamic commuity that will always support a 'muslim' over an infidel.

the very fact that there are non-muslims in that country has driven them sitr-crazy to the extent where they were trying to get rid of the indiginous hindu and buddist population.

i agree with you, i just think its unfortunate that they associate the two(these terrorist and ramadam).

you statement about mistakenly bombing a mosque makes me think of something sick funny. we have misstakenly bomb things in the past because of wrong coordinates were put into the bomb.

We owe it to the people that lost their lives to settle this situation. Although it is unfortunate that some may feel offended by bombing in Ramadan, that is tough shit. Do you think the terrorists will stop attacks on the west through Ramadan. I don't care what they think.

Halting the campaign may act as a symbol of respect, may court the support of the Muslim world BUT will also represent an act of weakness to both sides.

Ramadan is a time for reflection, maybe they (the Middle East) should do this - and do the right thing and put their own house in order so we don't HAVE to continue military action.
