I thought it was as good as the first as well. I guess if you're not into that type of movie then you wouldnt like it. I don't know how any of those battle scenes could put anyone to sleep.

A friend of mine hated the movie because there was to much "story" and not enough killing and pussy.

I was looking forward to this flick for a while,so I'am somewhat a fan.But theres no fucking way this movie was as good as the first.The effects were awsome,fight scenes were great.For some reason they wanted to ad the cheesy factor that every line in the film was a melodramatic pep-talk that lacked any pep.Those trees were so fucking boring,and slow,pointless if you ask me.The best part was when that lil' blonde fruitcake slid down the stairs on a shield shooting arrows at everyone
So fucking lame.And those orc's looked like a cross between "From dusk til dawn" vampires,and ice-cube in "Surviving the game".Boo!

And the worste part of the film,(which is more worsterer than the worste part)was when sam gave that look like he wanted to kiss frodo,and start crying while giving one of the worst acting delivery to date.Is it that part?Is it that one that your reffering to as "loving sam's talk".
