If you personally do not like me. Then that is your problem. But to purposely try to get me into trouble with my boss is quite childish.

I do not leave early every day. I leave 5 minutes early sometimes and do nothing to hide that i do this, but i am also in the office at 7am.

I do not sit around and read the paper for hours as you do and then take my lunch, nor do i take the opportunity to inform your boss of your activities.

That's grounds for sexual harassment. Tell him/her to keep their comments to themselves. Not to you, because you obviously don't mind (neither would I), but if another co-worker hears it, he/she can be fired.

One nice thing about my organization is that there is very little office politicking going on. Then again most of my coworkers are either academics (Phds) so they are very intellectual and not particularly socially inclined (like nerdy only grown up and very successful) or Research Assistants, who are right of of college so they are a) inexperienced in office politics, b) very low on the food chain and c) rarely stick around for more than 2 years.

Here it's all about brains and productivity. Demonstrate those two things and you're golden. Luckily I have the first and am decent at the second. Plus the work is challenging and interesting.

So anyways moving away from my favorite topic (me) Sounds like you confronted a situation that needed confronting. However a dialog between you two is helpful, so I would not rebuff her overtures to communicate. Even if she lies her face off, you'll know where you stand.
