I think this has to be one of my favorite shows of all time. Of course, some of the stuff is on the borderline of not believable but it's entertaining nonetheless.
THE SHIELD, the 2nd season

Decent show last nite.
The whole Mackey getting backed by Asaveda (sp?) deal - believable. The Strike Team getting through customs with a drugged up coke boss in the trunk - not likely. That german shepherd would have been going off.
The worst was the white dove tattoo. And the end with the little sister. BUT - I can't wait to see the beat down Mackey gives that guy - because you know they'll tie in his being a father.
Short of the ones on HBO - this is the best show going.

Don't read this ifyou didn't see the 1st episode of the 2nd season
If I was a custom's agent then I wouldn't even bother searching their car because they are cops.
The drug dealer was in the back seat drugged up on a date rape drug. The money was in the trunk but they could have hidden it somewhere else especially since it was probably drug money and it had drug scent all over it.
The guy who gave the tattoo is going to get a serious beating. Do remember the guy who wouldn't talk and had a little girl hidden somewhere that he was going to molest, so the Captain told Vic to make him talk and he gave the molestor a serious beating?
No, I am not into violence but it's a show and I realize the things aren't really happening so I just go with, but if it was happening for real right in front of me or live then I would disgusted.
Another great thing about the 1st episode of the season is that they had the 1st commercial 40 minutes into the show.

I saw an extended ad for that show, they were showing some scene where a dude had a tire dipped in gasoline around his neck. They really quick they showed the guy on fire.... it was pretty intense for a commecial. must be a good show.
