The Seven Points of Mind Training - Buddhist Topic

As I was meditating yesterday evening in my head, I had

A mantra going.

A song going.

Thoughts about two hot chicks and a duck.

This is all going on at the same time with my "Self" observing the show. The duck still puzzles me some.

AUM........

Yikes. Osho was a freak. If you want to learn Tonglen, I suggest Sogyal Rinpoche's work, the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.

there's actually five different teachers that comment on each topic.. so you get five slightly different variations..

i have a book at home called "buddhism with an attitude - the seven points of buddhist mind training" by.. i think.. b. allen wallace.. read it or know anything about him? he's a white dude that spent 7 or 9 years in tibet or dharmasala.. can't remember.. anywho.. i love his writing style.. i just brought that up cuz i was bored at work.

why do you say osho was a freak? i don't know anything about him.

also, you don't mean "the tibetan book of the dead I" do you?

oh shit.. i think that's him.. the fifth teacher on that website.. they just left out the "b." his biography is under construction so i can't be completely sure.. but i'm pretty sure it is.
