I just wanted to bring to everybody´s attention, that the notorious and kind of "so five years ago" website www.rotten.com
Does not only have all sorts of nauseating and shocking and amusing pictures, but it also has an actually surprising good article database.
The rotten library (which has little or no sickening images) can be found at www.rotten.com/library.
Entries vary from 10 pages to 1 line. subjects vary from theology, to pop culture, to medicine, anything. Whenever something is mentioned on which there is another article, the word is a hyperlink to said article.
What they all have in common is that they are written with a jaded, openminded, fascinating insight and are reliable and varyingly witty.
Even just the mission statement is inspiring.

Step carefully and remember the location of the eyewash stations as we present to you the lowest that we have traveled and the worst of what we have become. Enjoy! If you click on the "What´s New" directory, you get a list of the more serious articles, in order of posting.
I believe I have read the majority of articles on this site now, over a time of a few years. It´s a lot. None of the articles are undersigned with a name, but I´ve mailed to the website once, asking when there would be new entries. no response ever came, but new articles have been posted since.
