it all comes down to you and the addiction, who is stronger?. i look at it the same way i do as over weight fat people. saying you need a patch, or cut down slowly is like a fat ass saying they are going to cut down from eating 3 pizza'a a day to 1 1/2, then ends up taking 2 years to lose 5 pounds, it's BS, you have to tell yourself, and want to quite no matter what, and never look back. don't give in to one cig a day, or what not, if you can't quick cold turkey then plan on smoking for a long time....it all depends on how much you want to quite, are you stronger? or the urge to smoke?. you guys can't say i don't know because i smoked for about a year back in high school, decided i wanted to quite and stopped...i have friend that smoked for 6 years, and i told him what i thought, and he did the same thing, quite cold turkey because he was sick of it and wanted to quit..think about it!! it's a drug!! your addicted to it!! SO QUITE, you don't quite using crack by only smoking it a few times a week, or once a day...you have to just stop....sure there are other ways, but i think this is the best, you don't need it, it's the drug telling you this. you have to be stronger than the drug, and really, honestly want to quite.
