The Project...

or creed?
or collective soul when then first came out?

Okay, now I gotta jump on the Creed thing here...

Where did the Christian rock thing come from? I don't care if they are or aren't, really, but their official stance is that they are not a Christian rock band.

Just like POD...they say they're a "positive" rock band, not a Christian rock band.

Did Creed used to say they were Christian?

wow, I really am bored...

Man, I need to find me some Stryper to listen to...

:FRlol:

creed, collective soul, and POD all initially were Christian Rock bands and that gained them a following.
then they got signed and as they got bigger it is hard to have a big following as a christian rock band, so each and every one of those made public statements that while they have strong religious beliefs, they are just a band and don't want to be labled.

meaning, don't put us in a smaller market, we want it all.

I don't know...

Songs like 'Abortion is Murder' kind of say something.

I figured as much...guess they don't wanna be like Stryper, throwing bibles into the crowd.

Despite popular belief, Trent Reznor says Nine Inch Nails is a Christian rock band as well.

The song Heresy makes a positive statement :)
