The Playlist Shuffle Mix

So, my friend asked me for a mix the other day since I guess I'm the source to go to around here for new music. I ask, "What do you want on it?" and he answers with the predictable, "I don't care."

This is a tiny bit of a problem since I have no idea what his musical tastes are and I hate when I labor over making a perfect mix and people hate the genres I pick out for them. To remedy the problem I told him, "Dude, I'm just going to stick my playlist on shuffle for eighty minutes and whatever songs come up are what you're getting. I don't care if it's a mix of ambient noise and country, whatever shuffle picks is what you get."

Since I rip all the CDs I get to my computer for easier use I have a pretty hefty playlist to go through. It also got me thinking what other people's playlists would turn out like. So, I urge you, if you have the means possible, to post a mix with shuffle on just to see what you get. Don't write one out or try and change songs, I'm sure I'll have some guilty pleasures on mine so we're not judging anyone's musical taste. Just some fun.

Man I NEVER make a mix tape with the same band twice. And I really don't like Fu Manchu that much to have them on a mix tape at all! I have 3429 songs on my playlist and 3 songs are wasted doubles... And no instrumental stuff like Mogwai, Sigur Rós, GYBE!, Mono etc... Oh well I dodged the most embarresing songs in there anyway hehe. (Oh and it should be around 80 mins I think)

pretty eclectic, although a few that I don't listen to much and a few repetitive bands. The "unknown artist" are from CD's that I rip that do not contain artist and track info (I hate that) and i always tell myself that I'll go back and fill in the data later. I have a little under 2000 MP3's on this PC.
