I have been finding out that one acts like a pendulum after a break up. Whatever your perceived lacking was that you feel caused the problems you tend to overdo it in fixing that shortcoming (overshooting the mark) then you swing to far the opposite way. Each time though, your overshoot is less and less. And hopefully you find the balance that is natural for you.
I am really close to that balance, but still overshooting just a bit. Anyone else see this?
