Ok, this is up a few days early because people may want to post some predictions of what they think will happen in the first episode.

After every episode is over, use this thread to post what you thought about the episode and what you think will happen next.

I think I posted that article from USA Today. I think I especially will enjoy this season because I honestly think Tony is going to have no one but his family and a few others. I think he will be back in the situation he was in in Season One where EVERYONE was after him.

I bet it's Uncle Junior who gets capped at the end of the first episode.

I think they're gonna bump AJ more into the spotlight showing that he's eventually going to take over for his dad. Back in the last season they mentioned him wanting to get into "Event Planning" in college, then he organized that party charging kids to get in for alcohol. That seemed to show that he has some of his father's tendencies to be involved in illegal behaviors. And he smiled and just stood there when those two kids started fighting.

The preview made it seem like, Meadow might be trying to get pregnant. (I'm dying to see her skinny boyfriend get whacked for some reason.)

Furio and the Russian are coming back. Julianna Margules is supposed to join the cast as a real estate agent.

They better not get rid of Christopher....

That's true about Silvio. Ever since he got turned down for promotion by Tony he's been distancing himself. I still think something is gonna happen with Artie. With the restaurant fire and then the problems with his wife.

Rosalie Aprile looked like she was jealous of Carmela when she saw her with AJ together knowing her own son is dead. I'm wondering if they're gonna bump her character.

The bartender from BadaBing who quit and refused Tony's help paying hospital bills after he broke the chair over his head and caused partial hearing loss. Small part but I think he might come back.

And then there's Patsy who was talking suicide at the dinner table after his brother got whacked....

I thought Aid was alive because her hair changed.

You can tell Carm is trying to get that house done ASAP so she can move into and get away from Tony.

Tony believe it or not got a big break this episode. Two huge snitches are no more a threat for him. Uncle Jr. will get it soon. He'll be in an institution or dead.

Now Tony has yet another widow to worry about.

but was i the only one screaming at the TV several times...?

first time was when the show was supposed to start... fucking thing didn't actually come on until almost 9:10 with all the other bullshit...

second time was when Hesch and the son in law were in the car... i'm yelling, just fucking ram the other car you twat...

third time was when Jr shot Tony, and I was yelling get to the phone you fat fucker...!!!

good episode. obviously the ending was insane - I had looked over to my friend about halfway thru the episode and said, "Imagine if they killed off Tony on the first episode!! That would be balls". I can't imagine he dies, but it's an interesting move nonetheless. Something big has to come out of that whole incident - it won't simply be him going to the hospital and getting fixed up then nothing.

Jr. will be a non-factor from here on out. He may influence others to do shit for him to Tony but he himself won't get to Tony anymore I don't think.

Think about it, Uncle Jr. is basically just like Tony's mother now. Also, the trailer showed clips of Tony that haven't been showed yet so I imagine he does live.

It seems as thought the Adriana hit hasn't affected him at all yet. They will show more of it later. He will finally get what he has been waiting for this year I think.

I can guarantee you something in that episode will come back to mean something. Whether it's Meadow's suspicion about the Dr., AJ's vow to kill Uncle Jr., Tony's dream, Kevin Finnerty or whatever. Something BIG will come out of the episode.

They said on the E channel that he's supposed to be in the coma for a few episodes so it looks like his dream is gonna pick up where it left off next week.

In his dream it didn't sound like he was talking to Carmela on the phone. Sounded more like Artie's wife.

Wow, talk about one of the best endings to an episode ever. That last sequence when Tony didn't want to let go of the briefcase/his life, was amazing. That dream sequence was amazing. He's back bitches!

I was pissed about what Chris said at the end of the episode to Tony. Tony already told Chris what he thought about him going after a film career. Chris' first priority is the family, not to mention he's next in line to take over.

Interesting. I think Tony will shelf that idea as he has done. That could push Chris over the edge. But I don't understand why Chris didn't leave with Adriana and do it when he had her.

Few things I liked about this episode:

1. The fact that Creationism got pwned hardcore.

2. When they were performing surgery on Tony, the surgeon says:

"Oh my god, guess what I found?"
His nurses etc. reply, "What?"
"Jimmy Hoffa, Heh"

3. I also liked how Carmela told Tony to watch out for Vito. Glad she manned up and did that.

4. I think Tony did change. I think he's thinking about retiring pretty damn soon. Also, the references Pauly made to your family turning on you could be foreshadowing...
