Hey smalls and Ryan.....
I'm in no way frustrated. I understand exactly where Ryan is coming from. I used to be kind of like him(notice I said KID OF) when I was his age. I used to think basically that almost all people were good and the less fortunate needed and wanted help. Mind you I am a twice your age now and I have been in the business world for 21 years and have seen how the so called "oppressed" people function in our society. They could give a rats ass about you, me and anybody else. If you think they want your help you are only fooling yourselves. Believe me, I have tried. Learn a quick lesson here instead of finding out for yourselves. Better yet, ignore that comment...find out for yourself. I'm not trying to flame anybody here but looking at the world through rose colored glasses will only be the biggest letdown you have ever known. I used to fire employees when they didn't show up for work. Now, 21 years of being in business for myself I have come to the conclusion....I can put up with their shit or fire them and put up with somebody elses shit. Not much of a choice if you ask me. The government in their infinite wisdom has made it too easy NOT to get a job therefore all that is left in the workforce are people with no ambition to better themselves. To say I am angry is an understatement! I just rag RyanH because it's fun and he thinks he is right as rain(that's a saying here in the South for all the LD's out there). I think once your generation gets out into the real world(I'm not talking about flipping burgers at McDonalds) you will see exactly what I am talking about. RyanH, I never expected you to say your sorry.....you'll just have to find out for yourself!

I have no problem with someone making fun of me, i.e. of liberal views or any thing similar to that.
But, that's not what is done by many of you....Instead, some of you resort to name-calling and insults....i.e. "asshole"

I admit I did it to you when I first came here until I realized that all you wanted was a rise out of people to provoke their thoughts. When I found out how old you were that made a big difference in how I felt about you. I can respect that now! I've called a truce on myself for judging people too quickly by calling them assholes. I apologize for my past snap judgements of you and anybody else(although I don't think there was anybody else, just you). I will still rag you though on your posts but in an nicer way without name calling.(God, that was hard to say!) Just stop thinking that you always win these things. It's not a competition. When you do feel defeated....you just quit replying to the threads. That in itself smells of defeat. I'm not trying to flame you here on this thread...these are observations I have noticed. I use these boards as a gauge to determine how fucked up the world is and will be when I am in my golden years....LOL Peace!

there are people out there that simply do not want better things in life no matter how many handouts you give them.
my family taught me to be very compassionate but theres only so much you can do.
