So it may or may not happen, some place their poker chips saying it wont, some are cautious and say we should prepare.
What say you??
Given that pandemics have happened and will happen, the H5N1 meets two of the criteria thus far for a pandemic according to the World Health Organization, the director of the WHO said it WILL happen.
So, vote up all you scientist thinkers so we have it on record, you can be a hero of science or just an idiot gambler. Time will only tell

I'll stick with idiot gambler. I'm no where near smart enough to formulate an opinion on this one.

Always bring extra underwear. It never hurts to be prepared.

you never know when you just might shit your pants

it could happen. Better be safe than sorry.

Y2K 'could' have happened too. But it didn't. And ALOT of people made ALOT of money. I know this is not a valid comparison, but I'm just not a doomsdayer I guess. I prepare for power outtages, thats about it.

Generally speaking, it's only a worry for the very young and very old. However, the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1917 struck down people of all ages and more people died from influenza than were killed in WWI. About 35k people die every year from influenza in the US already. Remember, there is a direct correlation between LBM and immune system function so keep pumping teh iron.
