i have a nano, and let me tell you something about ipods compared to some other mp3 players...THEY SUCK.

screen - shit
user interface (that fucking wheel thingo) - shit
firmware - shit
randomly turning on/off - shit
itunes software...SHITSHITSHIT

ipods are crippled pieces of crap if you have your own mp3 library. theyre geared for apple to sell you tracks. gives me the shits badly.

the day you use a flashdrive style mp3 player that isnt encrypted to shit, so taht you can find/play/shuffle songs effortlessly, then go back to an ipod, youll want to explode from frustration

dont get me wrong - i like my ipod. i use it for hours everyday (my sisters often call it my implant ) but its often very frustrating

that sounds great...i use my ipod when i go running, and switching between playlists while youre bouncing along using that stupid wheel is impossible, besides, you always accidentally switch off the stopwatch and it all goes to hell quite quickly

26€ for the 1Gb model
46€ for ther 2 Gb model

I bought 2x1 gb and 1x2gb

still using the original battery that came with it... (45 mins daily)

The reason why the Ipod sucks lies not in the design, but in the implementation of the sucky DRM technology... in other words: Itunes cripples what would be an all-round-perfect sexy gadget.

The Ipod is geared at selling you music, clear and simple.

I'd much rather have a device that leaves the moral question to myself, instead of deciding itself what is right and what is wrong
