The movie "Gummo".

..has anyone seen this movie?...and if so...what is the plot?...some people were talking about it at work Friday and said it was kinda twisted and "dark"...couldn't find it at Blockbuster...so it must have been a "flop"....

words can't describe gummo. definitely one of the most fucked movies i've ever seen. basically it's about a bunch of rednecks. it contains everything from a 13 year old mentally retarded prostitute (her uncle pimps her out) to cat drowning.


the same director that did Kids directed Gummo.

it's definitely worth checking out. i didn't like it but i'm glad i watched it.

If your into movies that aren't "run of the mill" you'll like it. it is dark and demented, and you'll need to listen to some Jay Z or soemthing afterwards to bring you back to reality (lol). If your not into that go rent XXX or something.

As a sidenote while driving cross country a friend and I stopped at Xenia, OH, where gummo was set and filmed. It seemed like an ok place...till we stopped for gas...and I swear it was "Gummo" coming to life...

The scene where the kid from deliverence is taking a bath in muddy brown water was quite disturbing. The movie was like a train wreck. I stumbled across it and couldn't turn away. It was white trash personified.
