The last 2 lines of this have got to be one of the best, most proudest lines ever written into a song...just reading through it brings a tear to my eye... I cannot imagine what it does to those that actually are Marines....the pride it must invoke in them...God Bless Them...


From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli,
We fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea.
First to fight for right and freedom, and to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title of United States Marine.

Our Flag's unfurled to every breeze from dawn to setting sun.

To earn the right to be a Marine has been and always will be the proudest moment of my life. And to this day I can always count on Marines to help me out, whether they know me or not. I would do the same even die for them.
