mr db brought this up on my ebay thread about the "White Van". You know, the dudes riding around parking lots trying to sell you speakers that their boss doesn't know about because the manufactor shipped too many.

Ok... these guys are everywhere. Different guys, same scam and same white van. So my question is why the hell is it always the same white van?

Think about it. Is having a white van crucial to the scam? It won't work with a beige one? Or is it because some sucker actually meets them and goes "damn, what a great deal... I will buy every speaker in your van. hey, want to sale the van along with it?" And thus, he is stuck with shit and a white van to peddle it out of

Most Commercial fleet vehicle dealers stock only the plain white vans as cargo carriers at standard

Easy to get in out of neighborhoods etc..
