I like thinkers, but I didn't like how they flipped between the present and past so much, that works when the actors look different in the "old" scenes vs the "new" ones, but he looked exactly the same!

That is true. They didn't age him very well. I almost expected the movie to 'speed up' at some point but considering the type of flick I guess thats understandable.
