The DEA really doesn't care

phew... breath of fresh air indeed. it's a great time to be juicing isn't brothers. hopefully in the near future steroids will no longer be a scheduled III drug. hopefully.....

Did you see what they think about 25k of steroids.
"Some might say nothing did. He got no hard time, despite the considerable quantity of steroids that prosecutors say he planned on distributing around the country"

WTF? I don't consider 25k a large quantity. I'm mean shit that might of only been 10 cycles worth the way some mofo's take steroids.:D Either way I think this is good news and hopefully someday the'll leave steroids alone all together.

That was very interesting, thx for sharing.

Good post. I like this part of the article the best :

"An addict is someone who does not have control over their life," Pfingst said. "You don't have that with steroids. You don't see anyone knocking over a liquor store to buy steroids."

This is why I think they dont test for the shit ....if people have read my other post you know I get tested all the time ...any way other then the fact it cost a lot to test if they really cared about the use they would find a cheaper way to test users but they dont ....to me that just tells me no one really cares

Hell yeah I was just having an arguement about this with my girl. Look at who your average user is. They are usually decent people. Not that narcotic users aren't decent people but the majority of those arrested are what kind of people? No offense intended to any bro's out there

Maybe this could be a positive step towards educating the masses. If people start to realize that if the DEA and attorney's aren't classing aas in the same category as drugs neither should they

Great post, exactly bros. Personally if someone uses As they are typicall the type of person , with a good job, a winner, a top notch human being, an individual who wants to be the best...who wants to self improve and be #1 ...just as he does at work..wants to own personal company...and be teh best he can.
Personally most people i have met who either us As or dont in the gym , i can say are good people with morals values and a strong bond with God. Dont want to blaber too much, bu ti just want to say that the BB' comunity is in general a family. Top n otch winners willing to help others and over all nice and great people with warm hearts. Oh..and Big arms too:D

finally!!!

i cant stand people who cant think for themselves. now that the dea/fda/parents say that steroids are not as bad, they believe it.

i used to ask my mom about arnold schwartzneger taking steroids and she said "that was before we knew they were bad for you."

it makes you think about other policy and priority of the us.

DEA dont care unfortunatly FDA does , there the ones who made the bust and there the ones who congress listens to

great post bro! I wish the U.S. would go ahead and decriminalize juice. We have many more problems to deal with than a bunch of solid citizens trying to better their bodies!

Good info, thanks, but you need to keep in mind that state and local authorities, postal inspectors, and customs officials account for far more arrests on the "user", "small dealer" level. When customs seizes a package, a pretty common occurance posted about on the boards, they often just send you a letter. But they also provide the information to local law enforcement where the package was to be received. The state and local people can pursue it or not. If you live in a large city, the locals are too busy, but if you are in a low crime area, small town, or rural community.......the odds of a controlled delivery go way up.
This recently happened to an esteemed member of this board, with very unhappy consequences.
I'm not trying to be a wet blanket, here, but when you decide to use gear, you also assume some risks. Take it from someone who knows.

Also dont forget its not the amount you get busted with its who gets busted, 25k in steroids to a proffesional athlete is like OJ getting away with killing his wife. now if that was you with the trunk full of gear. Tell your old lady not to wait around for you, cause your ass is going bye bye.......Money fame always have a way of getting away...poor, broke ass ,nobody MOFO's, jail is loaded with them

BULLLLLLLLSHIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT.

Dont let that article fool you.... That is one incident, he also had a great lawyer and gavee up some good "info"

Just because OJ didnt go to prison for murder doesnt mean that they dont care about murder either.

Bro I think you missed the point of the article. They used George Jones as an example, but the main thrust of the article was the fact that the DEA wasn't all that interested in steroids.

"Despite evidence that the steroids trade is booming, the DEA made only 67 arrests this year, the lowest haul since the federal law went into place"

"Steroids aren't even on the DEA's radar screen anymore," said Phil Halpern, a federal prosecutor in San Diego.

"Haislip was given a small band of no more than a few dozen DEA agents to lead the fight. Every other targeted drug got more resources, he said. "

...etc

if you read the hearing that congress had before they decided not to make it illegal ( congress agreed it would do more harm then good to make it controlled , but sen joe fucking ass biden went behind and did it anywway) the DEA,FDA,MDA did NOT want it to be made illegal the only peopel pushign for it to be controlled was the IOC

Yeah but just because the DEA doesn't care doesn't mean state and local coppers don't. Still a good idea to be somewhat paranoid.
