If true.....imagine how wealthy these individuals would be. It would help explain some of the recently built mansions in LA etc that nobody lives in.

OK.....forget the Continental Cookie Maker name, I probably should have called these hypothetical people the Continental Cookie Cutters anyway.


We have world bankers who control immense monetary power and exercise mind boggling discretion over national banks and economies through "jawboning" changes in interest rates, money supplies, and perhaps dollar valuations etc.


When the US dollar was headed for being used as wallpaper in Europe, after Bush attached Iraq, China's national banks began buying immense amounts of our debt (in the form or treasury notes) and propped up our falling dollar to the consumers eyes.

Left me wondering if Chinese bankers suddenly decided that US treasury notes were a real bargain or were they instructed to do so?


I'm a tad rusty on this stuff. Used to be able to write a small book off the top of my head.


My Continental Cookie Maker moniker implies that they can knead the economies of countries and continents (some) to meet their needs. Like dough in the hands of a skilled baker.

I felt fairly decent today. No headache or nothing, just kinda tired.

I took some aspirin and one of those 'Emergen-C' packets before bed though. So that might have helped.

I heard that saltwater helps your body retain water and help prevent the dehydrative side of hangovers.

All I know is that salt makes beer taste funny.

Clear liquors (vs dark liquors) are also supposed to be better in the hang over departments.
