The Change Is Imminent...

Silent Method

New member
I come from athletic background. "Bodybuilding" for the pure sake of size and form without regard for further aspects of athletic performance is relatively new to me. I have struggled with this concept.

Recently an endeavor has begun which shall once again give me the opportunity to compete in the sport of gladiators, the sport that I love. I cannot express the depth of my delight.

I vow this before all of you: I will cultivate my body to meet the fullness of my athletic potential. I will demonstrate that the full magnificence of the human form is best realized through the development of elite function.

Are you boxing or going on American Gladiators?

I thought American Gladiators was defunct?

I have the same ideal. I want strength, leanness, speed, but I have stopped caring about mass.

Plornive, I believe this ideal is what true bodybuilding is.

LOL Wrestling boys, wrestling.

Wrestling is the martial sport in which I have the most background. I practice Ju-Jitsu and Judo when time allows (which isn't often). I have some exposure to others as well. (I feel my spirit lies with Aikido, but as of yet there are no schools in my area.) However, serious competition in these sports is nil in my area. Thus, my practice of both is little more than a leisure activity.

Wrestling is the ultimate combat sport. The prospect of competing once again with high-end competitors, a prospect that I had though I'd never again face, stirs emotion I cannot describe.

When you say wrestling, do you mean Triple H wrestling or do you mean Kenny Monday, Bruce Baumgartner wrestling? I was a wrestler (greco-roman and freestyle). It is hard corps. Good luck on your quest.

That's awesome bro. Being a wrestler was one of the most challenging, and rewarding things that I've done in my life. Your success or failure rest squarely on your shoulders. It motivates me to hear of this. I hope that you will keep us posted.
