I am going to the Grand Caymans this summer and was wondering if they sell A.S. like in mexico. I know they are a british territory, but does anybody have any first hand knowledge.

Nope

Proper British Colony. Nothing worth buying in the pharmacies.

What will you be doing there?
Everything is very expensive there, everything!
Unless you're going with a rugby team sponsored by Heineken and Amstel, ahhh... what a time.

Amazing water, stingray city's a must! DIVE!!!

Enjoy, stay to the west (assuming you are going to Grand Cayman), nothing to see elsewhere. Hell is a waste.

I am going with my girlfriend and my family for a week vacation. We are going to go scuba diving and snorkeling, and maybe do some bone fishing. So you are saying they don't have in gear there or it is just too expensive.

The exchange rate is pretty bad against the US dollar. Even McDonald's is $$. Don't waster your $$ on "Hell" and the "Pirate Caves of Bodin Town" - basically anything that says "No Refunds" - don't do. Best way is all-inclusive. They say "The Barefoot Man" at one of the hotels is a must-see. Otherwise, DIVE DIVE DIVE!

No juice in pharmacies

food, lodging, drinks, everything is expensive.
Yes, DIVE!
Even simply snorkeling the coves is great.

Hungry Tiger (gas station-the only thing open after 2) is the best pizza, lobster pot is great seafood, there were so many other great places, but very hazy rugby tour doesn't allow for much recollection. Conch(konk) fritters...hmmmm! We drank the plane and the dinner cruise ship outta booze.

Some botanical garden (name escapes me) place would be good for the family, as would the turtle farm, and sunset dinner cruise (all you can drink) on the Vahalla.

This time of year will be slow, enjoy the water and sun.

Have fun.

I was just there for 10 days last month. Find your way to World Gym, right above the Matrix club off 7 mile beach. The guys I talked to gave me some prices and gear is way cheaper in the states. Remember, every 100 US$ you bring is worth about 80$ CI. A small meal at KFC is 11$ US and everything else on the island is WAY expensive. I think a week pass at the world gym is about 45$ U.S. Oh...I didnt check the pharmacys cuz the prices the guys at the gym were telling me were outragous anyways.
