That board sucked

In my quest to find boards with political discussions I went to another board which was ok, but not great. One of the members invited me to another board that is a spinoff board filled with political thoughts.

So I go there and I find out it is full of radical right wingers. Imagine if p0ink had found a cloning machine. Not that I mind radical right wingers, but these guys had no arguments or evidence. Everything they believed was based on wishful thinking and arguments from identity, ie "I believe this because this is what X's believe and I am an X". Niggas was throwing around baseless arguments like popcorn at a movie theater. Suffice it to say I whupped everyones asses and left.

Are there any boards that are good for intelligent, rational political debate? This board is ok but it is a fitness board. Most members here aren't interested in debating politics or current events.

Nah. I want a board where people debate on issues instead of debate on identity. A liberal board where people spouted liberal opinions w/o thinking about them wouldn't help me either.

Most members here aren't interested in debating politics or current events.

By that I mean this is a board designed to attract people interested in weightlifting, fitness, dieting, etc. and political discussion is just a sidebar along with thousands of other topics. I wouldn't go to a board about carpentry and expect it to be devoted to electronics and I wouldn't go to a board about computers and expect it to be devoted to saving money. Same with a fitness board.

Google "political internet forums". I did, and there were a number of results. I'm not sure about their content or anything, but there should be something out there.
