why do most bbrs use accutane? it seems to be far more dangerous it can cause excess brain pressure,and death!

Accutane has been used by millions, and its perfectly safe. Death. Gimme a break.

Tetracycline isn't used as a lastline treatment for acne because it doesn't cure acne. Its merely an antibiotic - eventually bacteria will overcome the antibiotic and you will be back at square one. Tetracycline lasted 1 month for me before i developed antibiotic resistance. Then it was useless, the acne came back worse than before.

You will see.

i use minocycline for my acne problem in general. It really works well on my cycle. Although, I have to say, I still break out due to the excess oil, but nonetheless, it works pretty good.

Tetracycline is a useless antibiotic. dont waste your time. (I did). accutane worked wonders for me - and millions more.

Tetracycline and its derivatives will cause a catabolic effect on the muscles you are working so hard to gain. It work work antagonistically with the gear causing limited gains and hindering your body's ability to generate muscle/scar tissue. Tetracycline works by inhibiting protein synthesis.....necessary for muscle growth. I would recommend NOT using tetracycline and sticking with some natural remedies for acne such as tanning, frequent showers, chlorinated swimming pools, etc.

I used tetracycline for well over 6 months and it did absolutley nothing, Accutane was a pain in the ass for 3 months but ALL my acne has gone and I have had none of it come back!

ugh, I've been on for 5 months. This is my 5th month.

Nothing has worked so well.

You'll probably find tetracycline to be useless, then they'll prescribe minocycline. Once that doesnt work that well they might try another stronger anti-biotic.

and then accutane - because that works.

me and my wife are trying to concieve and doc told me it wouldnt be wise to take accutane while trying to conceive
or at all for that matter

Are you a woman? I guess so because taking accutane absolutely does not affect fertility of males, nor does it cause any problems in children conceived while taking it. IF YOU ARE MALE.... THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS. Your doctor is a fucking idiot if he told you otherwise. There are numerous studies of women who have become pregnant while the male was taking accutane, and no ill effects resulted.

it has become apparent to me that my hippie tree hugging doc obviously doesnt know what hes talking about
as i researched mor tetracycline decreases sperm mobility and apparently my doc doesnt consider that detrimental to trying to concieve

as for the way you respond to a post you dont have to be rude or accuseatory when someone who doesnt know something asks a question
it makes sense that youd be frustrated with all the incorrect and misleading info being slung aroun but you dont have to get hostile about clearing it up
