tested for steroid use

Hey guys,
Just wondering how do you get tested for steroid use... for example can they find out if your on steroids through a urine test? I was wondering because I could tested for marijuana and my doctor who is also a relative told me he was worried about me and everytime i see him he asks me if I am on steroids and when I got the tests done he called me yesterday and told me I tested negative for Marijuana but positive for steroids but it was just a urinary test... any answers would be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

Ask to see your results. Steroids are hormones, and there is a test for just about anything you can think of. The problem lies in the money factor. It would be to expensive to test every person for every drug under the sun everytime they went to take a test for work, pre-employment, military, etc.....
If he says you tested positive, then he had ordered your sample be checked for those compounds right off the bat.

I guess you can ask to see your results and then you will know whether to call bullshit or not though. At this point it's up to you though, i mean what do you want the final result to be? Do you just not want anyone to know, or will this test impact other areas of your life.

I for one do not care if any relative of mine know's i juice. That's not true for everyone though, but i would get the results and look them over yourself.

Yes they can test for steroids in your urine, but they don't test for the actual steroid itself, but usually a metabolite of the steroid. Although they are very expensive and he can't test you for them if he didn't ask you first it's against the law.

He may have tested your testosterone level and saw it was off the charts high (if your on a test cycle) or off the charts low (if you just came off or are on a cycle without test).

Or, he may just be bluffing.

I'd say it's a bluff. Ask to see the results and for him to point out exactly which parts give him concern and indicate steroids. Admit nothing.

If he's not bluffing then it would seem like he's invading your privacy not that there's much you can do unless you get really uppity about it and get legal representation.

Thanks guys, but heres the deal I am 19 years old and I live with my girlfriend but my mom gives me 200 dollars a month to pay for my 900 dollar a month apartment... so she kinda is still a part in my life I am not a mommas boy but she does alot for me she is one of those hands on mom kinda people and she was acusing me of selling marijuana and i told her i wasnt so i openly got a drug test for her....after drinking alot of water for a couple days... anyways then i come to find she has the doctor tell me i tested positive for steroids but negative for marijuana and i am thinking... they couldnt have tested me for both... so I am guessing my mom gave them permission which isnt right either but she would be really upset with me if I was on juice and she knew about it but she has kind of dropped it so she had to have been bluffing...right?

ask to see your results. There's only one way to find out and that's to look at the lab sheet. If it's confusing just scan it in and post it here and some of the bro's will be able to interpret it pretty easy.

Bro you shouldnt be using Juice period,save the drama for your momma and dont mess with it,your way too young.
