Both are slow-acting testosterone esters with a release time between 10-14 days. (T1/2 = 10-14 days). Enanthate has a 7-carbon ester chain while testosterone cypionate has 8 carbon atoms in the ester group. The more carbons the ester group has, the more soluble in oil it becomes, and the less soluble in water and the longer it is supposed to last in the body. Practically speaking, however, enanthate and cypionate are virtually identical. Do not confuse these with propionate, which is altogether different in that it is a fast-acting ester with a release time of 3-4 days. Also, it is usually water-suspension and hurts 10x > cyp or enth when injecting.
