ok well guys i've been on a deca/test cyp cycle for a few weeks now and i'm looking great! just thought i'd throw that in there...anyway i have a buddy that is wanting to run a test cyp only cycle and he's done his research and he just wanted me to run it by you guys b/c after all you're the pros.
He's wanting to run 500mg/week of test cyp for about 6 weeks, then week 9 start clomid therapy at 100mg/day for the first week and 50mg/day for the second and third weeks. it is his first cycle so that's why he's keeping the level of test relatively low...another question he had was if he should take all 500mg in one day and if so should he take it in one shot or two...or should he take two injects/week.. he also wanted to know if you guys had any input on any safety drugs to keep on the side to keep sides minimal..i told him a couple he might want to have but i'm sure you guys have more input than me...thanks once again

well 6 weeks of cyp is not enough...it takes 3-4 weeks to kick in then boom you are done. 8 weeks is the min imo. 500mg/wk can be taken in one shot on the same day since it is so long acting. i never run the clomid any higher than that on any of my cycles i think that will be fine.

6 weeks is too short in my opinion. Since he's got 3000mg of test I feel he'd be better off with 10 weeks at 300mg a week. At that dose he should do OK with sides, but I'd get some nolvadex just in case. Sorry it's so short but i'm in a rush.

JC, 10 weeks??? How long can you stay on cyp? I ran mine for 12 weeks and I wish I could have done it longer.

You'll get varying schools of thought on injecting once or twice a week. Personally I do it twice.

ok guys, i think he's wanting to do 300mg/week for eight weeks, week eleven start clomid therapy at 100mg/day for first week and 50mg/day for week 2 and 3...and have nolvadex on the side just in case...sound ok?

p.s. it's gonna be a bitch getting 300 mg in that damn needle since the bottles that the test come in are 250mg/cc..oh well, sucks for him i guess

i think 10 weeks is fine...i usually stay on test for 16 weeks. i just figured he would like the idea of 8 weeks instead of ten. i think 8 weeks will be fine for his first cycle.
