test and 10 weeks after.....a question

From what i gather, many people stop after 10-12 weeks of Test (lets go with 500mg and a 4500 calorie intake) Many say that they stop gaining pounds and there is no need to go on past 10-12 weeks.

So........Why is that one would stop ganing after this time frame on 500mg of test??? Wouldn't the body still make great gains on this amount over a longer peroid of time with a high calorie intake???

and... when do you think the body stops making good gains on this 500mg dose with 4500 calorie intake (upping the cals is not an option).

riddle me this

Actually it's closer to 8 weeks when the gains slow. When you take the test you change the activity in your genes. That activity is what results in an increase in protein synthesis. The amount of test determines how much activity. So in essence you're changing your genetics. But you'll only change your genetics to the point that corresponds to the amount you're on. Once your body reaches the new limit you've set with 500mg it will slow down because that point in the protein synthesis is no longer enough to keep growing. Now if you double up on the dose at that point you'd keep growing into the new limit.
In other words, you outgrow the dose.

excellent!! great posty! how about upping the cals to lets say 7000 ulter?? I know it would not have near the same effect as upping the dosages, but would it yield solid gains for another 4 weeks or so?? would this have any influence on gene activity whatso ever??

That explains alot. I used to do once a week injects and after breaking it up into twice a week plus adding sus to the cycle I went from benching 315 to 365 like it was nothing.
