Testosterone heptylate is a long acting, oil based injectable testosterone produced in France. In action, heptylate is very similar to testosterone enanthate, producing dramatic size and strength gains along with the usual androgenic side effects which come with a testosterone product. Compared to enanthate however, heptylate is slightly shorter acting, although not by much. A weekly injection of this product (250-500mg) is quite sufficient, as is with enanthate. Users sometimes claim heptylate produced less pronounced side effects than enanthate and this may be attributed to it's slightly shorter action. Since this is still a testosterone however, any difference would probably not be negligible. In France, this product is comparatively cheap and relatively easy to obtain. In the U.S., other testosterone products seem to dominate and heptylate is rarely seen. It should probably be considered legitimate when found, especially if the ampules are properly packaged. A legitimate box contains 2 ampules, both concealed in one foil covered plastic tray. The ampules are clear glass with red printing directly on the surface. Firmly rubbing the writing will not remove it. As of yet, fakes of this product do not seem to be a problem.
