How long do you usually wait? What if this person is more of a friend type, than a potential partner?

I have said that wonderfull statement only once, and it was given back with the same intensity as I felt.

I waited till I felt this undeniable feeling of gratitude, and thankfullness, and contentment, and attraction, and care filled my heart. Then I told her in a very calm way.

I care for her well being, and i told her that. we still are in corresspondence today
