Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if anyone has had really good results with teeth whitening. Could you please tell me what worked for you? I would love to really brighten up my smile! I'm contemplating call the Brite Smile centers to have them professionally done, has anyone done this???

Yikes!!!!!! that's pretty expensive. If you have the stints, that is the mouth piece that covers your teeth to bleach, you can buy "PROXYGEL" over the counter at Savon or Rite-Aid or any pharmacy, this gel contains a low % of peroxide which is what DDS use to whitten teeth. If you use that you will have great results its just a slow process and you have to be consistant. If you don't have the stints you can try brushing with the proxigel and it might work. Its worth the try and you can save $$$$. I worked in a dental field for many years and one of the DDS used this method it worked very well. Do it for about 3 weeks, your teeth might feel a little sensitive for a while until they get used to it, but it goes away, your throat might feel a little unconfortable too, this is because of the peroxide. All these are common sides and are not severe. I hope this helps

i just started the professional bleaching shit from the dentist where they make molds of your teeth and then give you the plastic mouth guard thingies. i'm on day 3 and i honestly can't notice too much of a difference. my teeth and gums were pretty sensitive yesterday but it's not too bad today. this is supposed to take two weeks or so, so i'm hoping i'm just impatient and i'll start seeing some decent results soon. i paid like $350 to have it done so i better damn well see something.

Crest Whitestrips gave pretty good results for $40- Crest.com- got better results than trays w/ 16% solution from my Dentist (not as white as Seinfeld's 'Elaine', but good) - if the gel/tray solution gets on the gums, they get sensitive. The strips are fitted for upper & lower, supposed to use them twice /day, had no gum probs w/ these.

i used the shit from the dentist last year. He made a custom mold to my teeth, and every night for 2 weeks i would wear the thing to sleep. I got AMAZING results. I only used 1/4 the gel, and my teeth were off the chart. Everyone told me how white my teeth were, and most knew i got em bleeched.

it's been a year now, and after a few hundred cokes, they have faded a little, as i said i still have 3/4 the stuff left so i plan on doing it for the next 2 weeks to get back those whites....

i think it was well worth the money...

boyfriend went to the dentist and paid 450 bucks, I went to the drugstore and paid about 30 bucks... same results (mine came with molds you custom fit to your teeth, I slept wearing the gel filled molds for the same 2 weeks as my bf, we both have gel left over) Don't waste your money!!

I have tried everything available(under a $100 bucks anyway)
and these work good. I mean it they actually work.

If your teeth are extremely stained and jacked just ignore what I said, but for the average joe or jane whose teeth have just gotten a little yellow, try them out. You wont be dissapointed
