I'm setting up a windows server on an old box to mirror some files off of our production network, and serve them on a seperate, private lan with 20 PC's attatched.
To do this I'm assuming I need 2 NIC's.. one on the private network, one on the production.. and on the private side the server needs to have DNS and DHCP (private IP scope, 192.168.x.x) set up so that the PC's can reach the server.. am I overlooking anything? How do I make sure the DNS and DHCP servers don't hit our production network?
